Despite everything, Chester Zoo is still preventing extinction. From caring for 35,000 animals to helping conservation organisations across the world manage the impact of this crisis, our fight for wildlife will not stop!

Story

A group of my friends and I are running a marathon relay a week, for 6 weeks to raise money for Chester Zoo. We are in 2 teams and will be recording times and distance on Strava.

We all met in Chester and the Zoo plays a big part of the lives of the people in Chester. It would be a tragedy if of the global pandemic Covid-19, the Zoo had to close. Which is a very real possibility the Zoo is currently facing.
