Hello and thanks for dropping by!

As most of you know, Juliet and I are getting married this year and, to mark the occasion, I wanted to do something for those less fortunate than myself.

So, I've decided to run my first ever marathon on October 2, 2011: the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon.

It's a full-on marathon - 26-plus miles - and I'll be doing it to raise money for the Starlight Children's Foundation, a fantastic charity which cares for seriously and terminally ill children. The work these guys do is both heartbreaking and inspiring and it will be a huge honour to run and raise money on their behalf.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
