We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

On 21 June we will be embarking on the Longest day golf challenge (with a twist).... We will be playing every course in Jersey in a day.... we are teeing off at about 5.30am.

It is usually only 72 holes but we are planning onplaying 81 holes in a day....

Why? We are hoping to raise funds for Parkinsons UK and increase awareness of the disease. It is a disease that is very close to both of us and our families.

You may not already know, but the reason that Parkinson's disease develops is not known, yet 1 in 20 people under the age of 40 are diagnosed with the disease.

Approx 4million people globally suffer from the disease and 120,000 in the UK, and there is currently no known cure for the disease.

If you can spare a few pounds, share this post or provide some support on the day, that would be very appreciated.

To make the challenge a bit fun / tougher, on the par 3 course we will be playing with 3 clubs (iron, wedge and putter).

We've joined together to raise money for charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right.Your donation can really help us smash this goal.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
