Michael's zipslide for Glasgow Women's Aid

ZIPSLIDE off the Xscape building in Braehead · 8 September 2012
Without proper thought, I immediately agreed to do the below (on Saturday September 8) after someone dropped out. Whoops! But it's all for a very, very good cause, read on (this is from the group page at https://www.justgiving.com/teams/gwa):
Rather than sit at home and watch TV with a cup of tea, we've decided to ZIPSLIDE off the Xscape building in Braehead to raise much needed funds for Glasgow Women's Aid.
5,000 women and their children contact Glasgow Women's Aid on a yearly basis to access refuge, support and advice on domestic abuse.
Your generous donation helps Glasgow Women's Aid to continue providing the support and services needed to change and save women and children's lives affected by domestic abuse.
Your donation will help change lives! Please donate what you can and feel free to come along on the day to cheer us on.
So that's that - if you want to donate, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
