On the 23rd Sept 2018 ten of us will take part in the Belfast Half Marathon fund raising for Beyond The Battlefield.

Beyond The Battlefield was formed as a charity to look after the well being of the Ex-service community in both parts of the island of Ireland. The charity is open to all service personnel from the forces, the Policeand the emergency services through to anyone who because of service or indeed through their connections to the services has or is suffering from PTSD.

Beyond The Battlefield carries out a number of roles which include treatment of PTSD the associated problems which are stress, alcohol abuse, drugs, domestic violence, suicide, bereavement, financial difficulties, self hard and trauma.

The charity also performs a series of different tasks which will improve the lives of the Ex-service community.

About the charity

We work with all issues concerning veterans from the Ex-Services in N.I. Our main area of expertise is offering Specialist Counselling Services to those experiencing PTSD and connected comorbidity issues: panic disorders, hypervigilance, drug/alcohol/ domestic abuse, self-harm and homelessness.
