Neuroendocrine Tumour Unit: the Quiet Cancer Therapy Appeal
We have set up this page in memory of Michael Levene, who passed away on the 29th December 2010 and in response to a number of requests from his many friends and business associates who would like to donate to a charity which he supported.
The quiet Cancer Therapy Appeal supports the team at the Neuroendocrine Tumour Unit at the Royal Free Hospital, London which is involved in the development of novel treatments for neuroendocrine tumours. By supporting research it is hoped that there will be a more rapid evolution of treatments not only for patients with neuroendocrine cancers but also for more common cancers such as breast and lung cancer.
Thank you all so much for your kind words of support, from all over the world, which have been much appreciated.
