Story
In September 2020 I was diagnosed with Cancer. In April of 2023 I will run the London Marathon. This run is about celebrating the love and support I received in my recovery and looking forward to the future. There was a point before my diagnosis where I could hardly walk 100m without having to stop and now I'm hoping to complete just over 26 miles.
This is monumental for me. There was a time when I didn't know if I'd walk again and now I'll try my best to run for 4 and a half hours!
I'm an actor, one who has always enjoyed physical movement and comedy. The realisation that I might not be able to do the thing I loved ever again was deeply upsetting. Now that I'm healthy again I want to celebrate what my body can achieve. I hope for your support in completing that aim. I promise to run with dedication for all my supporters and on behalf of those with cancer and their families.
I will be forever in debt to those who treated me and cared for me, Nurses, Doctors, friends and family this is one way I hope i can pay back the kindness.
Love to all and here we go!
