For a very long time I have held an ambition to run a marathon, but have always felt it would be out of reach. Recently, however, I have run a few 10Ks and a half marathon,and now is the time to try and achieve my goal in running the Jersey Marathon.

As I take on this challenge, I am aiming to seek to raise some funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care, one of the UK's largest charities providing care to patients who have cancer or are terminally ill, and support to their families.

Any donations made will be greatly appreciated by Marie Curie.
