I have now completed 10x10k road and trail races within 10 weeks in the hope of raising money for St. Mary's Hospital Neonatal Unit in Manchester.

Our boys, James and David were 16 years old in June and were born weighing just over 3lbs each with considerable problems. They simply would not be alive today without the expert care and knowledge given by this unit.

Check out the pictures to see how they have developed into tall, strong, healthy young men. (Handsome is obviously down to me!)

It seems a suitable anniversary to show my appreciation for these wonderful people who saved their lives on many occasions.

Race 2 Badger Trail 10k finished 65th/200 in 50 mins 8 secs (3/6/11)

Race 3 Manchester Pride 10k Bit of a joke race as no marshall at 7km and all runners went the wrong way! So only ran 8.4km in 39 mins                                                                                        (10/6/11)

Race 7 Leigh 10k finished 42nd/466 in 43mins 56 secs      (17/7/11)

Race 8 Lancaster 10k finished 52nd/253 in 41mins 35 sec (20/7/11)

Race 9 Badger 10k finished 59th/216 in 46 mins 2 secs        (4/8/11)
