Researchers at the University of Sheffield are leading the way in developing personalised treatments for Parkinson's Disease.

Story

It’s a cause that means a lot to me and I hope you will choose to support me. It’s now been more than 50 years since the last big breakthrough in Parkinson’s research - a statistic we hope will change soon thanks to research at the University of Sheffield. Every single donation will motivate me while I’m completing my challenge.

On Friday 25th June at 1845 I will leave the town of Keswick in the lake district and I'll attempt to climb 42 lakeland mountains covering a distance of 66 miles and 26,000 feet in under 24 hours. As well as rasing money for this excellent cause I will be rewarded with an exploration of the Lake District's beautiful mountains.

This challenge, called the Bob Graham is not to be taken lightly the mountains are fickle and must be approached with respect. It's taken more than 3 years to prepare for this with lots of support, help and coaching from Dark Peak Fell Runners. I am so grateful for the support that people have offered for the day my family, Castle Mountaineering Club Friends and friends from Dark Peak who will run with me and support my attempt.
