Thanks for taking the time to visit Michael's JustGiving page. We have set this up in memory of Michael who was a loving father of William, husband to Sarah, son of Eileen and a truly great friend and work colleague.  His tragic accident on Helvellyn shocked us all, and whilst very sad we are comforted by the many amazing memories we have of him. 

The Patterdale Mountain Rescue team mobilised and coordinated the search for him and found his body on the mountain and we truly thank them for their work and the personal risks they took. As a volunteer organisation we set this up to ensure that all of our donations go towards their continued ability to operate safely and successfully.
