This September, I’m running Brighton Marathon to raise money for The Clock Tower Sanctuary, Brighton's only day centre for 16-25 year olds experiencing homelessness. They rely totally on donations to keep their doors open to young people, so every penny will help after a difficult 18 months for many.

I support The Clock Tower Sanctuary because they provide vital practical and emotional support to help vulnerable young people move from crisis to independence. They receives 4,000 visits from young people who have nowhere else to turn every year. They offer washing and laundry facilities, hot meals, confidence-building activities and help with accessing health services, benefits, accommodation, training and work.

The CTS is a small charity and they make a huge difference to the lives of young people in our community - thank you for your support. Here are some examples of what your donations help provide:

£10 could pay to top up a young person’s phone, so that they can stay in touch during a crisis.

£48 could fund a confidential case-worker support session for a young person where they can talk to someone who will listen, understand and help.”

I had the privilege to volunteer for the CTS and have seen the great work they do that needs our support. Any donations you and your friends & family can spare will be greatly appreciated.
