Bright Red is the blood cancer charity based at the Freeman Hospital cancer unit where my Mam was cared for before she was taken by leukaemia and lymphoma. The difference about this charity is that it tries to improve the lives of people in the North of England who are living with and being treated for blood cancer. 

Her wish was for proceeds from her funeral collection to go to this charity. Our Family now supports this charity where we can. 

She was worried about my Dad being lonely when she had gone. So in her last few days, we made a list of things that I could do with him. Trekking Hadrian's Wall was top of the list. I didn't think it was fair to make him do it all.... so here goes!
