Story
I am helping Heaven Help Us CC raise awareness and funds for War Child. Through the Spirit of Cricket, we are asking people to support War Child and potentially win a custom-made cricket bat of their choice from B3 Cricket.
For every £3 donated to War Child, we will give you a slot in the B3 bat raffle. Every penny of your donation will go to War Child.
The lucky winner will get a top of the range, custom B3 cricket bat made from the finest English willow. They will also get to choose their preferred bat shape, weight and even the colour of their stickers!
Former England international and fellow Heaven Help Us CC player, Chris Lewis, will draw the winner on October 8th, so tickets are available to purchase right up until the 7th of October.
You can donate or buy as many tickets as you like, but each name will only go into the draw a maximum of 10 times to ensure everyone as a decent chance.
War Child is striving for a world in which no child's life is torn apart by war. They protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living in war zones.
By donating, you will be making a difference to thousands of children whose lives have been turned upside-down by conflict.
You’ll help War Child provide the emergency care and support they need to overcome the emotional and physical toll of conflict, as well as access to services to catch up on lost education that will help to transform their futures for the better.
Heaven Help Us Cricket Club was established in 2021 by Human Rights Lawyer, Mohammed Sadiq Patel.
The Spirit of Cricket states:
“Cricket is an exciting game that encourages leadership, friendship and teamwork, which brings together people from different nationalities, cultures and religions, especially when played within the Spirit of Cricket.”
The club brings together a wide spectrum of people who are leaders in their respective professions – public service, literature, law, academia, charities, faith, the arts, business and sport.
