Michael's Myton 100km challenge
Fundraising for The Myton Hospices
Fundraising for The Myton Hospices
On Sunday 5th August 2018 I will be taking part in a cycle challenge of 100km around the beautiful Warwickshire and Cotswolds countryside (and hills!), by that time having completed a 160km cycle challenge around the streets of the London / Surrey the previous Sunday. Whilst doing this I will be raising funds for The Myton Hospices that expertly and compassionately looked after Wendy's sister in palliative care for cancer, and provided incredibly important ongoing support for family. The work they do is so important in continuing to help others in similar circumstances. As a bonus any funds raised by myself will be matched by HSBC through their £ for £ scheme.
The Myton Hospices believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; they focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. They are leaders in compassionate end of life care; their work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly they give them more quality time with their loved ones.Last year they supported more than 1,400 people and their families, in the three hospices, via the patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
