Most friends will know my father has terminal cancer which started in the prostate. Other close family members including myself will/ are going to be prone to similar problems in the future. This cancer is affecting more and more men each year and its mainly because us blokes don't have simple checks done each year. If your 50 or over get a check up each year from your GP. My Dad missed just one annual check in 18 years and that was the year the cancer hit and progressed to an inoperable state.

Breast cancer is another worthy charity and by supporting them we can make great headway into research and developement towards future treatment/ cures. 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer, thats an increase from 1 in 12 women from 1997 - 2008. Lets help improve awareness and make a small effort to reduce these statistics.

This year 37,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and 50,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Combined, more than 750,000 people are living with these two cancers in the UK right now.

I'm sure we have all been affected by cancer one way or another so please donate so we can help make advances for now and the future.
