We are raising money for Mia-May the daughter of Nick Mcdonald who works in Fujitsu's channel sales team.
Mia was born on 31st July 2014 and at about 10 months old was dignosed with a severe visual impairment (blind). At first this was thought to be her only condition but unfortunately this is not the case. MRI scans at Great Ormond Street Hospital have revealed that
Mia’s brain is not developing as it should and Mia is still unable to
walk or talk or do any of the other things a 4 year old should be able
to do. After three years of testing and involvement in a genetic study
called the 100 thousand genome project with the hope of getting answers to Mia's condition, unfortunately news has come back that her condition remains unknown.
Please help us raise money to support Mia with her needs and the ongoing Physio,Hydrotherapy and equipment needed to help her fulfill her dreams of being able to walk on her own two feet and lead the life any parent would wish for. Physio and Hydrotherapy has meant that Mia is now able to bare weight on her legs and is one step closer to her dream, without this therapy these achievements would not be made so all your donations will truly have such a positive impact on Mia's development and to live as an inclusive life as is possible for her
