I've chosen to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support in my first race, the Sheffield big fun run 5km. Macmillan provided the most practical, genuine, compassionate help and support to Chris's father, Michael, when he was enduring the pain and discomfort of bowel cancer and after-effects of the various treatments. It was the Macmillan nurses who truly paid attention to what Michael wanted and needed, and made the most difference to our family at that time. I'm running in Michael's memory and would deeply appreciate any donation you can give.
