Many of our patients at MHP Wound Care need assistance transferring or positioning for wound care. Currently, the team physically completes these transfers and position changes. By adding a transfer lift to our services line, the care we provide will be positively impacted on a daily basis. The lift will allow our team to safely and comfortably move our patients from one position to another to provide optimal wound care. The transfer lift will improve access to care as transferring will no longer be a barrier to care as patients have avoided wound care due physical limitations. Overall, the transfer lift will improve patient and staff safety, quality, work flow, and most importantly improve the patient experience in our clinic.
