I did it - fantastic fun
Tuesday 22nd May will remain with me for a very long time. I completed my wing walk on behalf of the Anson Engine Museum and managed to raise funds in the process.
It was tremendous fun and I loved it! There are more pictures of the flight on the museum website www.enginemuseum.org so you can see me in action. The flight took place at Rendcomb airfield in Gloucestershire. The planes used to be sponsored by Utterly Butterly but are now in a red and white livery for their new sponsors Guinot.
I had set myself the target of £2,500 but I have not managed to raise quite that much. I am still gathering in the sponsorship money so do please add to my total as every little helps. (Remember to complete the Tax Relief part so we can reclaim the tax on your donation.)
Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored me. Many thanks for your support.
Margaret Hacking
PS I lost all but 5lbs of the target I set myself so will persevere and lose these too despite the fact the Wing Walk is already completed :-)
