"WENLOCK'S WEEKEND WITH MANDEVILLE MADNESS"

Or MG CST as it is more usually known, is a bi-annual weekend of fun and frivolity organised by a small team of (volunteer!) classic car enthusiasts.  Hundreds of like-minded people come along, although you don't have to own a classic car to attend!!  Held at the Cricket St Thomas Hotel in Somerset there are lots of activities, entertainment, great food - and the odd glass or two of bubbly thrown in for good measure!!   Aside from gathering for a relaxing weekend, we aim to raise money for good causes, and in this year of the Olympics, have chosen ParalympicsGB as the charity to support.  This country has so many fantastic athletes, both able-bodied and those less able but no less capable, and they deserve our financial help in achieving goals the majority of us would only dream of!  People like Sophie Christiansen, who won the same amount of golds as Rebecca Adlington but received half the recognition.

During the weekend, we will, of course, be doing lots to raise funds, like selling raffle tickets, jumping about at the Zumba Party, and shaking buckets under your noses, but in the meantime, please help us further by donating through JustGiving, which is simple, fast and totally secure.
