Story
Hello, and welcome to our JustGiving page! We are Simon, Richard & Jack, who have spent the last 6 months training for Rob Burrow's Leeds Marathon on 14th May 2023, in honour of our beloved Dad/Grandad Terry and to support Sue Ryder's Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope.
Unfortunately, Chris having put in the training miles had to withdraw with only a few weeks to go due to a running injury.
Our family experienced first hand the amazing support and care provided by the hospice, and now we want to give back.
Dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and the team at Manorlands Hospice provided us with exceptional support during those challenging times. Their compassionate staff went above and beyond, allowing our dad to remain at home and surrounded by family until his last moments.
Over the years we have also seen other friends and their families benefit from the hospice's support, and it has inspired us to make a difference.
Sue Ryder's Manorlands Hospice, is a lifeline for many families who face the incredibly difficult journey of caring for a loved one with a life-limiting illness. They provide invaluable support, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and supporting the family during a difficult time.
Your donation will help the hospice continue providing its much needed services to other families like ours. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference to the lives of those who depend on the support of Sue Ryder's Manorlands Hospice.
So please help us by donating and spreading the word by sharing our page on social media and with your friends and family.
On behalf of our family and everyone at Sue Ryder's Manorlands Hospice, thank you for your support. Together, we can make a difference.
Simon, Richard and Jack.
