Story

My two daughters, nicknamed Seahorse and Turtle, are 2 and 6 years old, but already have some great experiences with British mammals. Together can we spend the next 26 weeks finding 26 different species of British mammals - mainly on our local patch due to C-19 lockdown conditions as part of the 2.6 challenge?  The last day of our challenge will be Sunday 25th October, coinciding with National Mammal Week.

We will be recording our findings using the Mammal Mapper app so they can be used to inform long-term data trends, and will also be updating what we see and find through social media. Follow our story and see if we can go beyond the usual signs of mammal poo, footprints and holes to actually see some wildlife in the flesh (wish me luck on this - neither child is exactly quiet...!)
