Story
On Friday 7 October, team MERJE will be taking on the challenge of sleeping out to support vulnerable children across the UK.
A number of the MERJE team will be taking off their recruitment hats and piling on the layers as they forgo their beds and spend a night under the stars in aid of Action for Children.
Right now, there are 3.9 million UK children in poverty. Home isn't the loving place it's supposed to be. And with the cost of living crisis spiralling out of control, they're even more vulnerable.
Tonight, children all over the UK will go to sleep hungry. Some of these children don't even have a warm bed to climb into.
Action for Children makes sure that children have the basics - like warm clothes, hot meals and a proper bed. They offer the right mental health support so children can thrive, and provide protection and recovery to child victims of abuse and neglect.
Please help us raise vital funds to help a vulnerable child's dreams of a safe and happy childhood come true.
- £40 could pay for gas and electricity for a family for a week
- £50 could buy clothes and shoes for a child
- £100 could provide a child with a bed
- £200 could provide a family with a cooker
Thank you for your support!
