Story

Me and some friends have decided to SUP the Amazon.

The team will travel to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve in the Peruvian Amazon and be fully immersed in the jungle. We'll be the first to explore the "black waters" of this part of the Amazon using Paddle Boards. The aim is to SUP 260km down the river from the Derado Lake, with wild camping in hammocks at night time.

I've decided to raise money for an old school friend of mine - Dame Deborah James, who has done a phenomenal job of raising awareness of the early symptoms of bowel cancer. Although we lost touch when school finished  - I, like many others have been following her journey navigating bowel cancer treatment as well as her relentless campaigning. Money raised will go towards funding clinical trials and improving outcomes for those diagnosed with cancer.
