We're running this half marathon in memory of Gillian Huxley, who died on February 28th 2013 of pancreatic cancer.She was a much loved sister, mother and auntie who spent the last days of her life in the Pembroke ward at Salisbury Hospital.

The empathy, care and support given by all the staff and chaplains made it the most memorable, respectful and peaceful experience we could possibly have wished for. We will always be so grateful to them and hope that the money we raise for their 'stars appeal' will help in some small way to continue their amazing work.
