Story
We are challenging all Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team members to take part in our ‘Run the Track’ Challenge in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK.
‘Run The Track’ involves walking, running, cycling or swimming the distance of at least one lap of each circuit that we race at, whether you are at the track over the race weekend or not.
All Team members taking part in the challenge will be logging the distances they complete on the Team’s Run The Track Strava group, so they can track their progress and see how their team mates are getting on. The leader board will show the number of laps completed
in the week leading up to each race. It would be great if collectively we
can reach the full race distance for each race.
‘Run the Track’ will start on Monday 27th June, with the aim as a Team of completing 52 ‘laps’ at 5.891km each - to represent the full distance of the British Grand Prix - by Sunday 2nd August. We will then Run the Track for each of the following races in the 2020 Formula One calendar in the week leading up to that race.
The Team is raising funds for our Official Charity Partner, Alzheimer’s Research UK, to help fund life changing research to find a cure for dementia.
Whether you are completing the challenge yourself and want to make a donation for the laps you complete, or would like to sponsor someone else to take part in the challenge, you can do so below.
Thank you for your help in funding the vital work of the UK’s leading Alzheimer’s research charity.
