I'm planning on running my first half Marathon for an Amazing charity www.willingandabel.org.uk set up by my friend Dr Abi boys who I study Dentistry with at Guy's Hospital.

Willing and Abel literally help keep babies and children alive by providing them with the specialist surgery they deserve but would otherwise never recieve from their own healthcare systems as they live in developing countries in Africa.

For example;-

Abel was a baby born with his heart outside his chest, these guys provided him with the surgery he needed and he is now 18 months old.

Aissa had an eroded face from an infection due to malnutrition and was provided with the care and treatment she needed

Currently they are trying to fund the treatment for grace who has a severly mutated face due to tumours that were left to expand.

I decided to make the run more dentally relevant and a little more challenging by running it in my dental tunic (!) and surgery attire. I aim to complete it in under 2 hours - although I may have to cut a hole in my mask to achieve it ;-)

I'm running it  for Willing and Able in Support of Abi and the amazing things the charity  accomplishes, I hope you can spare a couple of quid and a couple of minutes to support them too.
