Take Action: Talk To Your Doctor - Male Cancer Awareness Ride

Take Action: Talk To Your Doctor - Cycle Ride · 19 June 2020
Myself and Aaron are undertaking a cycle challenge from Kings Lynn to Southwold - wearing striking t-shirts featuring the bold design of a giant pair of Testicles to raise awareness of male cancers in Men's Health Week.
With the intimate nature of male cancers, some men are worried or embarrassed to seek support.
This situation is steadily improving, but there is still some way to go to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Each day many men are diagnosed with cancer:
130 prostate cancer, 6 testicular cancer and 2 with penile cancer.
Therefore we have set our fundraising target of £966 representing the number of men diagnosed each week.
Money will support Big C with their great work in the areas of Support, Research, Equipment and Education.
When cancer is diagnosed at an early stage, treatment is more likely to be successful.
We hope our cycle-ride will draw attention to this issue and help reinforce this crucial message - Take Action, Talk to Your Doctor.
