We work to prevent breast cancer to stop women, and men, being diagnosed.

Story

Us MenoSister's have decided to support 'Breast Cancer UK' as our 'Charity of the Year', as some of our ladies have been thrown into surgical menopause due to breast cancer, or have had somebody close to us that has been diagnosed or lost their battle to this disease.

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Over 55,000 women and 390 men a year are diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet a quarter of these cases are preventable. Breast Cancer UK is working to prevent breast cancer through education, scientific research, collaboration and policy change.     Breast Cancer UK provides practical advice and tips on how we can reduce our risk. They campaign for changes to national health policies to support prevention, and fund research to help improve our understanding of how to stop the disease.

Raising funds and awareness to women's health is essential for generations to come which is why we have chosen 'Breast Cancer UK' as our Menopause Support Group 'Charity of the Year'.  We will be holding fitness challenges and other events during the year to help raise vital funds.

Please help us raise the vital funds that is needed to help detect, prevent and support women with breast cancer.

Thank you & much love

From all us MenoSister's (Kent)
