This is the group fund page for our collective of fathers, some sons, some married some single and some inevitably of no-fixed relationship status. We are cycling the route of Hadrian’s Wall from Solway to Tynemouth. So please donate to Si, Ted, Geoff, Paul, James, Winston, Chris Mac, Chris Ray, Paddy, Rich, Jon and Tony. Recent additions to the trip are Charlie, rob moss and Steve Ray doing the same daily distance in Malawi.
This coast to coast trip is to raise awareness of the challenges men face in opening up, talking and finding healthy solutions to mental health issues encompassing but not limited to stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD, panics, hypomania, bipolar, suicide and OCD.
By talking about these topics, amongst a merry band of The Dirty Dozen cycling peloton of dreams we hope more men feel comfortable expressing worry, stress and concerns to each other. Humour is important and we embody this. Also, Sport is important to bring us together when things aren’t so good. Mood can be improved by a cycle, walk or talk. So thanks for throwing some money our way. It goes directly to Manchester MIND and work with men that struggle a bit.
