Story
Martin Rackstraw lost his battle with Oesphagus cancer on 8th July 2019, and is terribly missed by his family, friends and wife Davina.
On March 15th 2020, Davina and a group of friends are taking on the challenge of a 20 kilometre walk in memory of Martin and to raise funds for The Oesophagael Patients Association.
OPA is a charity providing quality information and support for patients and their loved ones affected by gastric cancers. They continue to promote public awareness of these lesser known (but rapidly increasing) cancers meaning many more lives could be saved through earlier diagnosis and better treatment.
Please help by donating to this page, This is a big challenge for most of us but we are determined to finish the 20k and raise as much money as possible in Martin's honour.
If you would like to join us on the walk, please contact Nicola Nolan on NicolaNolan11@outlook.com. Entry fee is £30 and all proceeds go to OPA. The entry fee includes: Guided 20k walk through Oxfordshire, snack and refreshment at halfway point, afternoon tea and mini massage at the finish.
