Event: Asda Foundation GEAR 10K 2018, on 6 May 2018
In memory of Tim Rose
We need your support to expand our palliative care centre to meet the increasing needs of people with a life-limiting condition, and their families in Wisbech and the Fens.

Story

In June last year Tim Rose passed away, following an inspirational battle with cancer and dementia.

In his last few weeks the Alan Hudson Day Treatment Centre and the Trafford Ward, offered amazing support and care to Tim and all of his family. To say thank you and to help raise money, Mark (his son), Jo (his daughter) and Louis (his grandson) are running the Gear 10K on May 6th in his memory;

Mark Rose - has come out of running retirement to show the younger ones how to do it! Despite creaking joints, he is still showing his competitive spirit (inherited from his dad) during training and he is sure to complete the 10k in a respectable time.

Jo Sheen - at the start of the year Jo put down the prosecco, got off the sofa and started running. She is enjoying fitting training sessions in around the kids and is determined (in true Rose family tradition) to complete the race in under 1hr 10mins.

Louis Willoughby - the youngster in the pack, is keeping the older ones motivated. With his boundless energy and confident attitude to training, despite a couple of injuries, he is sure to whizz round the course!
