Fundraising for St Oswald's Hospice Limited
Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page!
After having such an amazing experience last year doing the half-marathon, I decided I wanted to do my part to help raise much needed funds for another fantastic charity. When I saw that St Oswald's was having a Midnight 10k Walk I was very excited! Not only is it a great local charity doing truly amazing work for so many people, but i get to walk at night when the sun is safely tucked away! It's perfect!
I've been in training by doing long walks up & down the coast, and along the quayside on the weekends with Amanda, my co-midnight-walker, for the last couple of months. We're accustomed to walking in the blazing sun so it'll be a nice change to walk at midnight. We are definitely ready for this and I'm looking forward to crossing the finish line with a big grin on my face knowing we've helped a great charity. Roll on July!
