On October 28th 2022 I went out of my comfort zone to participate in a dive with sharks. I had never scuba-dived before, and although I am a keen swimmer, staying 4 metres underwater was a nerve-wracking experience! 

However, it was a day out of my extremely hectic role of continually caring for others, and I really enjoyed being able to do something brave and raise money for a needy cause at the same time. 

Beaumond House is my local hospice, offering a holistic approach to care, one which focuses on quality of life for patients and their families. The team provides comfort, dignity and hope to those who have a life limiting condition, with palliative care needs. They help people live life to the fullest by compassionate caring, managing symptoms and giving emotional and spiritual support.
