Thanks for looking at my just giving page, please read on for my story.
Following on from my London Marathon journey I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2020!! Please donate!
So I’ve decided to run the London marathon 2019 for a charity very close to my heart. In February 2010 my baby boy Aiden came prematurely at 34 weeks weighing in at 4 pound 3oz due to me suffering from pre eclampsia. Aiden was whisked straight away into neonatal and after having a emergency c section I couldn’t hold my baby straight after. I saw a glimpse of this beautiful baby boy I created and couldn’t hold him until 4 hours later when the kind hospital staff took me to see him in my bed.
I fell pregnant with my second son and Dylan came on October 2013 again due to pre eclampsia, he also was born prematurely at 34 weeks weighing in at 3 pound 9oz, he also was taken straight to neonatal and a different hospital meant that I couldn’t see him until 24 hours later when I could be in a wheelchair after my c section.
Let’s raise awareness for this brilliant charity that helps mothers around the world who struggle with pre eclampsia in pregnancy find something that can make sure we can carry our babies full term and hold our babies once we have given birth.
Thank you for all your support
