Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year, our eldest has shown a real interest in charity work and how we can help others, so we are continuin to teach him how we can all do.sometging to help.

Dan's eldest brother is diagnosed with this awful disease so we have seen first hand how awful it is for both the individual and their family. Tony is part of a trial in Scotland and we have seen how with determination and positivity he fights EVERY SINGLE DAY. He makes us, and the rest of the family so proud, but we equally know that there are darker days when it is almost too much.

THAT is why we want to raise as much as possible for the charity, both to continue funding research and trials in the hope of finding a cure one day, or at least more successful treatment, but equally importantly to fund supporting individuals and their loved ones when things really get tough.

'I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples' (Mother Teresa)

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
