I have lost family members to dementia and have worked as a Care assistant / Senior Care assistant for over fifteen years.

I recently started work at Secure Meters and I am part of a team that are setting up an alarm response centre (Beanbag Care) this is to help enable people to remain in their own homes for longer by offering various services to assist with this but without the need of a wearable device.

I suggested to my manager that we could do this walk to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society. after I'd registered Secure as dementia friends.
