I was diagnosed in August 2005, just after I turned 18 and after several months of being extremely ill. Crohn's affects every part of my life, meaning I have had to develop coping mechanisms so that I can live my life as freely as I can, although at times it feels like a ball and chain. There is currently no cure for Crohn's but with fundraising, we will be able to find better treatments and hopefully, one day, a cure.
