This ‘journey’ is hell, it’s a rollercoaster ride we both want to get off, but of course we keep going.
Lately it can be hard to stay positive, we lean on each other, and thankfully also others. We experience this in very different ways of course, we both play different roles, and in many ways I have it much easier, but it’s definitely not easy.
My wife is without a doubt the stongest human I know, sometimes I don't know how she keeps going but she does, and I couldn't love her more.
How do you mourn something you never had? But you felt so deeply? How do you move forward when you’re stuck in the same place?
*Everyone* has their own story, their own challenges, IVF is one of ours, and I wouldn’t wish this in my worst enemy.
I have a good for age place at London Marathon this weekend, I have no need to fundraise, but if you’d like to, please consider making a donation to this miscarriage association on my just giving page (www.JustGiving.com/MelanieMcKayMarathon) in support of others like us, and in honour of what might have been.
Much love to anyone who can relate. And many thanks to those helping us through x
