I can’t believe I am actually doing this!!!
For some strange reason I decided earlier this year that I would run next years London Marathon, I don’t know what possessed me but I made the promise to Anna that I would do it.

So here we are getting prepared for the marathon and starting with the British 10K London Race.

I am hoping to finish the race sometime before it gets dark  and need to raise £300 for Counsel and Care.

Counsel and Care is a national charity getting the best care and support for older people, their families and carers.
For over 50 years Counsel and Care has been working to make sure that everyone who comes to us for advice and information receives the support that they are entitled to.
In order to do all the above work, they rely on the generosity of the public for donations and legacies.

So please dig deep and sponsor me, I will allow at least one photo of me at the finish to prove I did it, although I will be looking a bit purple!
