I understand that so many people ask for donations and I understand money is tight for so many, but I ask all my friends and family to help me raise money for the charity that supported me and my family though such a very difficult time. The Motor Nuron disease Association (MNDA) were there in the hard days, they were there to bring happiness and laughter, they were there to help my mum with the difficulties and supported us though one of the most awful diseases life can be taken by. They were there to support Pete, to provide him the things he needed and ensure he lived the best life he could. Without MNDA life wouldn’t of been the same. So I ask you all again to help me help other families who are in the same position I was, other suffers of MND. Pete helped me be the person I am today. He taught me life lessons no one else ever could. He also taught me Math, English and got my brain working in ways no one else could. He also taught me to be myself, to enjoy life and to do everything you have ever wanted to do. My first 10K Run to me will be ‘with Pete’ but to other in memory of.
