Team tim 46mile race to base on my bike Im taking part in the Race to the Base in support of my local air ambulance service. The Great North Air Ambulance Service provides world-class, critical care across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care team delivers life-saving treatments at the scene of an incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to over 1,200 emergency call-outs last year*, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.*2020
