My wonderful Mum was diagnosed with this cruel disease in November 2020. She is still fighting it every day with such courage and dignity it inspires me. Sadly, at this time there is no treatment or cure but hopefully one day with research there may be.

The feeling of helplessness watching my Mum as this disease takes over her body is heart wrenching. Which is why I have decided to run the Leeds Half Marathon in May 2022 to raise some funds towards research. This may not help my Mum but hopefully it will help others in the near future.
