We give hope, courage and opportunity to people with sight loss in Scotland

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I always said I would run a marathon in my 40th year and couldn't think of a better cause than the Royal Blind School in Edinburgh.  My nephew Lloyd has been a pupil at the Cannan Lane Campus for the past 12 years and the support, opportunities and quality of care he has been given has been second to none. The facilities on campus and commitment of staff are amazing and this is just my way of saying a huge thanks to them on behalf of my entire family.

Lloyd truly is a fantastic young man with a wicked sense of humour, he has had to endure more in 17 years of life than most people do in a lifetime, he is my drive and inspiration to complete this challenge and I will hold on to that for every step of my 26.2 miles.

Not matter how big or small please give whatever you can to support the work of the Royal Blind and allow other young people to be given the same opportunities as Lloyd. I have been informed that all the money i raise will go straight back to Cannan Lane.
