Walking 406 miles in 10 weeks!, 4 June 2020
The SAA rescues and rehomes many cats and rabbits yearly. Unfortunately, with ever-increasing vet bills and lots of poorly and senior cats in our care, we are incurring large vet bills daily. If you would like to help, please consider donating.

Story

With my sky dive being postponed (this will still go ahead
at some point and I appreciate all the support so far but they need help now!).
So I have decided to raise funds by doing a sponsored walk. I plan on walking 406 miles in 10 weeks! This is the same distance as walking from Edinburgh to Southampton.
I started my challenge on 27th March and the 10 weeks is up on 4th
June! I have walked 270 miles in the last 6 weeks. I have 4 weeks to complete the 406-mile target I have set myself! I would really appreciate any sponsorship at all. I am raising money for an animal sanctuary (who is close to my heart). People generally don’t give as freely to animals, so I am setting my target low but every little helps! Thank you for reading and thank you for helping such a worthy cause!

The Society for Abandoned Animals (registered charity no. 245426) rescues and re homes many cats and rabbits yearly. Recently there has been a big increase in both vet costs and the amount of chronically poorly cats and senior cats admitted into their care.In the past two months alone there have been several cats with medical conditions amounting to a major cost to the rescue, and the SAA and their supporters are fundraising to help to cover these costs.
