Charlie Kay is 10 years old and has cerebral palsy, although this has never stopped him from giving himself a challenge !! He is a devoted and quite obsessed Manchester City fan so we bought him a ticket to go and see Manchester City vs Manchester United on April 7th at the Etihad Stadium. He has never been to a home match and certainly never been to the Etihad. To say he is delighted is an understatement. So how can we make it a bit more interesting, spice things up and support this amazing charity ? Well here starts Charlie’s Challenge - Etihad Stadium Edition!!!! As the crow flies it is 179 miles to the Etihad Stadium from NB. So before the match on the 7th April, Charlie has been  walking, cycling and swimming those miles to the Manchester City Etihad Stadium. So in 13 weeks, 179 Miles means 13.7 miles a week. Let’s do it and finish this challenge. 

Each week we will update you on our journey, mileage and post what and where Charlie is doing his activity so you can maybe join him and help keep him motivated ??
