I am going to struggle round St Clare's 10K next Sunday 12 April, 2015 because St Clare's has helped my husband, Jumbo (pictured) and myself through the Carer's Group.

Jumbo was seriously ill back in the New Year and he ended up in hospital for nearly 3 weeks. We both benefited when he stayed in the In-patient Unit for 6 nights last month.

His mate Neil Andrews very kindly bought him the scooter he is on in the photo. This has given him a new lease of life.

I usually run this race every year but my left knee is swollen and painful at the moment so I may have to hobble round! Thank you so much for your support. Love from Mel and Jumbo xx
