Mel had breast cancer, successfully treated (touch wood) at the Royal Marsden. Friends and family have had between them cervical, breast, melanoma, duodenum, prostrate, colon, testicular, lymphoma and lung cancer. Some are no longer with us and others are doing really well. So, we are trying to raise some money to support all types of cancer research to help all of us in the future.

The Royal Marsden is a wonderful hospital available to all those living in London through the NHS.  Their research is ground-breaking and has saved so many lives. Their care is second-to-none. By fundraising, we help to continue this service to cancer sufferers and carers.

Mel has a life time target to raise £50,000 for the fight against cancer. Long may she live so that she has time to do this. Another £40,000 to go.

Please help. Dig shallow, dig deep ... but at least dig!
