Hello! Please sponsor myself and my two daughters. We have my mum with us as well!

Had my brother at 19 have lived longer, his final few days would have been spent here. The staff, such as the nurses, showed my parents great kindness and he had a place there ready for him.

I know friends who either have, or have nearly spent their final hours at Douglas Macmillan, or whose relatives have.

My family and I, especially myself and my daughters, have always been keen to help charities as much as we can, whether it is baking cakes to raise money for the Stoke-On-Trent Foodbank, or my previous Tesco Cancer Race For Life runs, we want to help charities as much as we are able.

If we can raise any money to support these incredibly brave people so that they can can some comfort and excellent care in their final hours, then we will!

Whether you have one pound found down the side of the sofa, or plenty more cash, any sum no matter how big or small will be so much appreciated.

The plan is to walk together but...you never know!
